Your Lake Naivasha tour begins at 7:00 AM with pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or the airport. After meeting your professional guide, you'll depart for Naivasha via the scenic Great Rift Valley road, stopping briefly at designated viewpoints along the way to admire the escarpment and capture photos of the valley below.
On arrival at Hell's Gate National Park, one of Kenya's few parks that can be explored on foot and by bicycle, you'll spend the morning on a guided game walk, cycling safari, or drive through the park, passing grazing zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and various antelope species set against dramatic volcanic cliffs and gorges.
From there, you'll head to Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort for a relaxing lunch overlooking the lake and its surrounding wildlife.
After lunch, you'll board a boat for a Lake Naivasha boat safari, cruising the calm waters to spot hippos, African fish eagles, pelicans, and other bird species, with Mount Longonot forming a scenic backdrop.
You'll then continue to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari, walking safely among free-roaming giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes, and antelope, one of the best photography opportunities of the day.
In the late afternoon, you'll depart Lake Naivasha and begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening for a comfortable drop-off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.
