This Amboseli safari price varies by lodge, season, and group size, with accommodation ranging from budget tented camps to luxury lodges inside the park and in nearby conservancies. As with our other packages, the more people traveling together, the lower the cost per person.

Group size adjustments

• 3 persons: 5% less than the per-person rate for 2 persons
• 5 persons: 2% less than the per-person rate for 4 persons
• Solo travelers: add 40% to the per-person rate for 2 persons
• Easter Supplement: $40 per person per night, on selected lodges (low season)

Children: free (0–2 years, sharing with adults); 75% of adult rate (3–11 years, sharing with adults)

Amboseli Lodges

AA Amboseli Lodge — Budget. Three-star comfort less than two miles from the Kimana Gate of Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge — Budget. Rustic, well-spaced cottages set through mature gardens, with 83 guest rooms.

Kilima Safari Camp — Mid-range. Located inside Amboseli National Park a short distance from Kimana Gate, with a spacious camp layout and welcoming reception.

Best Time to Visit

The dry season (June–October and January–March) offers the best game viewing and the clearest Kilimanjaro views. During the short rains (November–December), the park turns lush and green, better suited to photographers and birdwatchers than to guaranteed mountain views.
