This 5 day luxury Kenya safari covers three of the country’s most distinct parks: Aberdare National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the Masai Mara Game Reserve, each showing a different side of Kenya’s landscape and wildlife.

The safari starts in Aberdare’s cool, forested highlands, where tree lodges overlook clearings visited by elephants, bushbucks, and leopards. It continues to Lake Nakuru, known for its flamingo populations, black rhinos, and Rift Valley views, before concluding in the Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and, in season, the Great Migration.

Travel is in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional guide, with lodges and tented camps selected across budget, mid-range, and luxury categories to suit different travel styles.

This Aberdare, Nakuru, and Mara safari price depends on your lodge category (budget, mid-range, or luxury), the season you travel, and your group size. As with our other packages, larger groups bring the cost per person down.

Aberdare Lodges

The Ark Lodge — Built to resemble Noah's Ark, set inside the park overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt-lick that regularly draws elephants, buffalo, and occasionally rhino.

Treetops Lodge — A heritage tree-house style property overlooking a waterhole and salt-lick, notable as the location where Princess Elizabeth became Queen in 1952.

Aberdare Country Club — Classic country-inn style accommodation on Mweiga Hill, with spacious rooms (some with fireplaces) overlooking the highlands.

Lake Nakuru Lodges

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge — Set along the Lion Hill ridge with panoramic views of the lake and flamingo-lined shores from elevated terraces.

Lake Nakuru Lodge — An eco-lodge within the park boundaries, with frequent visits from grazing rhinos, waterbucks, and baboons.

Flamingo Hill Tented Camp — Set between "honeymoon" and "baboon" cliffs, with tents facing plains often visited by giraffes and gazelles.

Masai Mara Lodges

Aberdare Climate Note

Aberdare's highland climate is notably cooler than Kenya's savannah parks, particularly at night, pack warm layers for evenings at the tree lodge.
