1. What do we mean by unlimited game-viewing drives?
At AK African Tours and Safaris, we understand that you came to Africa to witness its incredible wildlife and immerse yourself in its natural beauty. We ensure that your safari itinerary maximizes prime game-viewing times, giving you the best chance to spot a variety of wildlife species.
- Guided by 4×4 Safari Jeeps
Your safari tour driver/guide and 4×4 Jeep will be at your service during designated game drive hours (6:30 AM – 6 PM as per park regulations).
- Flexible Game Drives
You have the option to adjust your schedule—add, skip, shorten, or extend game drives—while also enjoying the facilities of your safari lodge or tented camp.
2. Do you offer group-sharing safari tours?
At AK African Tours and Safaris, we primarily offer private safaris tailored to your group. This ensures flexibility, customization, and personal pace.
- Private Tours: Travel with family or friends in a dedicated 4×4

3. Does AK African Tours and Safaris provide complimentary extras?
Yes! Hospitality is at the heart of what we do:
- Meet & Greet Services at Nairobi airport
- Hotel shuttle transfers on arrival and departure days
- General safari and Kenya destination assistance upon request
4. Is there Wi-Fi at the safari lodges and in your vehicles?
- Safari Lodges/Tented Camps: Most accommodations provide free Wi-Fi in public areas like the reception, dining area, and However, it’s typically unavailable in individual rooms/tents.
- Safari Jeeps: Our 4×4 Jeeps are equipped with Wi-Fi, accessible about 70% of the time, depending on network
5. Do you provide drinking water on safari?
Yes, we ensure unlimited supplies of cool bottled water. All safari vehicles are equipped with a cooler box or mini fridge, and we replenish water supplies during stops
6. Can we request an extra night/day on a group-sharing tour?
Extending a group-sharing safari is typically not possible as all participants must travel as a group. Exceptions may be made if:
- All group members agree
- Accommodation availability is confirmed
- Additional charges are covered
7. Can we choose a favorite tour driver/guide?
At AK African Tours and Safaris, we’re proud of our exceptional team of guides. You can request a specific guide based on recommendations or reviews, subject to availability. If unavailable, rest assured another highly qualified guide will ensure a fantastic safari experience.
8. Are mosquito nets provided in safari accommodations?
Yes, all rooms/tents are fitted with mosquito nets or are insect-proofed for your protection. Additionally, we recommend using insect repellent when outdoors in the evenings.
