Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge

Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge: The Historic Eco-Lodge

Built in the early 1960s, this lodge was among the first permanent lodges inside a national park, making it a true heritage treasure.

Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is one of Tsavo West’s most iconic properties, set against the foothills of the Chyulu Hills with uninterrupted views over a busy waterhole that attracts wildlife throughout the day. As Kenya’s first-ever lodge built inside a national park, it blends classic stone-built architecture with modern safari comfort, offering panoramic scenery, reliable service, and quick access to the park’s major landmarks. Its central location makes it ideal for game drives, photography, and relaxed wildlife viewing directly from the lodge terrace.
